Wonderfully surreal and abstract, Dead Air, leaves you thinking about it long after you've finished the last page.
The first thing you'll notice, after the cover, is how short it is. Direct and to the point, no filler. The artwork, use of color, and story are magnificent, conveying a dream-like quality. The concept of capturing a dream here works wonderfully in the child book format. I'd love to see a longer book with a series of dreams told, but that's not a point to be held against this. No doubt a future collectors item from a young and talented artist.
Absolutely loved the different textures and contrasts. It really gave the story that extra depth. It felt like a dream and stirred the imagination!
