This poetry collection is divided into six sections by subject, placed in the following order Humor, Family, Reflections, Nature, Adventures, and Livi. Livi is my young granddaughter. These poems all relate my feelings about actual events. I have attempted to write clearly enough for the readers to feel what I felt as I wrote these poems. In doing so, I purposely used much descriptive language detailing what I saw with my eyes and with my heart. I sincerely hope you enjoy reading all of the poems in this collection.

I love Ted's poems and he did a great job with Shriek While You Can! I worked with Ted for many years and we always enjoyed his poems. You feel like you are traveling and enjoying the fun with him as he so wonderfully describes his adventures. Great Job Ted, keep up the good writing! Sue Burlison
I am not into poetry, but I did enjoy reading Ted's book! This a great collection of poems about Ted's life growing up in Oregon, the places he's visited and doing things with his family. Many of the poems are about the places I have visited and I now have a better perspective of those places. The poems were fun to read . . .
Lovely book that makes a wonderful coffee table book as it's easy to read a few poems here and there. It is very apparent that the author is very introspective and makes insightful observations of his life and the lives of those around him. A joy to read and I particularly enjoy his silly sense of humor.
I enjoyed the poems written. They were all expressions of the author's view of life experiences he had. I could relate to his feelings in several of his poems. I prefer more metered poetry, that's why I liked it rather than loved it. I did love the honesty and humor in his descriptions of a variety of things. This is a nice book to be able to read over a period of time.
This delightful book of light poetry reflects on the joys of family life experiences honestly and thoughtfully. I had the privilege of hearing the author read some of his poems aloud. Some of my favorites were "What Time is It?","Reaching Out and Taking In", and "Seasons of Life". I found the first poem in the book, "Shriek While You Can" to be particularly charming. I highly recommend this book.
I enjoyed Ted's book. The reasons are mostly twofold. First, I know Ted, so as he related his different experiences, I could see him in them. Second, his experiences are relateable on a personal level. I've had many of the same, like "Skip to the Loo." He varies his rhyme schemes, and he's a good storyteller. I believe a lot of his poems are good for ages 12 and up. It is worth the read and worth sharing.
I enjoyed reading this collection of poems by an obviously kind and sensitive man as he lives out his roll as husband, father, son and grandfather. My favorite poems were titled "In My Opinion," "Mountain Sunset," and "Peaking Into Heaven." The quality of the poems varied from simplistic to quite thoughtfully written. I also enjoyed the photography.
